I think all the sun went to my head this weekend so I though i'd kick off the week with a value packed article...

The 3 Things You Must Do To Get Shredded This Summer.

 

1/ LIFT 

If you want to look jacked on the beach this summer...

You need to lift weights. There's nothing more effective at transforming a physique then weight training.

I know you're busy but you only need as little as a 20-30 minute session, 3-4 times a week to get effective results.

If you're doing it right, you probably won't want to do much more than this anyway. Use a moderate weight that you can handle for 10-15 reps, keep rest periods to no more than 30 seconds to a minute and focus on movements that work more than one muscle at a time (compound exercises). And then let me know if 20-30 minutes is not enough. Don't have weights or access to a gym? No problem. Body weight exercises are just as effective. 

 

2/ RUN

Running has alway been one of my favourite forms of cardio for burning fat fast. Its a good opportunity to get outdoors and depending on your fitness level you can start off with as little as 5 minutes and work up to 10-20 minutes. if running is not your thing, try uphill walking.

 

3/ PROTEIN

Focus on a high protein diet of lean meat, fish, eggs, plant based proteins etc. For optimal fat loss 25-50% of your diet wants to come from a good quality protein source and the rest made up of healthy fats, starchy carbs, vegetables, and some fruit.
